Haters are always present: Just like "roaches when the lights cut on," haters will appear when you pursue your dreams, whispering, throwing shade, and watching to see if you succeed.
Don't let them stop you: The speaker uses examples like Dr. King and Beyonce to illustrate that success comes from persistence, not quitting when faced with criticism.
Keep pushing through: Life can be tough, like "running up a hill in church shoes", but it's crucial to keep stepping and not get stuck with those who want you to quit.
Outshine the negativity: The advice is to keep climbing, pushing, and grinding. Laugh off their negativity and work so hard that your success makes them "squint when they look at you cuz you shine too bright".
Remember, your enemies follow you because they know you're headed somewhere they can't go. Don't stop now; you're almost there!
