MLK Days of Service 2025 - January 18 - Howard County - The Eudaimonia Project Inc. - Serving with Grace
“Serving with Grace: MLK Day of Service” is a community-focused event where volunteers will assemble mental health care packages, participate in self-care workshops, and engage in family-friendly activities to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of service and unity. Together, we aim to promote wellness, address community needs, and inspire ongoing acts of kindness and service.
Details for Volunteers:
1. What to Wear:
• Comfortable, casual clothing suitable for indoor activities.
• Closed-toe shoes for safety and comfort.
• If you’re participating in outdoor activities, dress appropriately for the weather.
2. What to Bring:
• Travel-size toiletries (e.g., toothpaste, soap, shampoo, lotion) to contribute to our Heroes Boxes.
• A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to serve!
3. Special Instructions:
• Parking: Free parking is available at The Maryland Innovation Center, 6751 Columbia Gateway Drive, Columbia, MD 21046. Please follow the signs directing you to the designated parking area.
• Check-In: Volunteers should arrive at 9:00 AM for check-in and orientation. Look for The Eudaimonia Project Inc. check-in table near the main entrance.
